The Story

On the 41st floor of the Rothschild Tower, The Mediterranean Salon occupies a position that is as much philosophical as it is geographic. Below, the Bauhaus boulevards of the White City; ahead, an unbroken line of sea meeting sky. The duplex was completed in 2023 to a brief that its owner — a tech founder splitting time between San Francisco and Tel Aviv — described simply as: 'Make it feel like the future remembers the past.'

The result is a space of radical clarity. Italian cabinetry in smoked oak. Floors of honed Calacatta marble. A private elevator that opens directly into a double-height salon where the only decoration is the Mediterranean itself, framed in floor-to-ceiling glass.

The upper level — reached by a sculptural staircase of blackened steel and glass — contains the private quarters: four bedrooms, each with sea views, and a study lined in hand-stitched leather. The effect is not opulence. It is precision. Every material, every angle, every proportion has been argued over, tested, and resolved.

A Note from Amir
"I show this apartment last. Always last. Because after you've seen the stone and the history of Caesarea and Jerusalem, you need to feel what Israel is becoming — not just what it has been. This apartment is the answer to the question: 'Can a country this ancient also be this modern?' The answer, from the 41st floor, is unmistakable."
