The Story

On the 41st floor of the Rothschild Tower, The Mediterranean Salon occupies a position that is as much philosophical as it is geographic. Below, the Bauhaus boulevards of the White City; ahead, an unbroken line of sea meeting sky. The duplex was completed in 2023 to a brief that its owner — a tech founder splitting time between San Francisco and Tel Aviv — described simply as: ‘Make it feel like the future remembers the past.’

The result is a space of radical clarity. Italian cabinetry in smoked oak. Floors of honed Calacatta marble. A private elevator that opens directly into a double-height salon where the only decoration is the Mediterranean itself, framed in floor-to-ceiling glass.

The upper level — reached by a sculptural staircase of blackened steel and glass — contains the private quarters: four bedrooms, each with sea views, and a study lined in hand-stitched leather. The effect is not opulence. It is precision. Every material, every angle, every proportion has been argued over, tested, and resolved.

A Note from Amir
I show this apartment last. Always last. Because after you’ve seen the stone and the history of Caesarea and Jerusalem, you need to feel what Israel is becoming — not just what it has been. This apartment is the answer to the question: ‘Can a country this ancient also be this modern?’ The answer, from the 41st floor, is unmistakable.
