The Forefathers' Horizon

"The Forefathers did not build for themselves. They built for the ones who would come after. This house understands that."

The Story

Within the gated perimeter of the Caesarea Royal Reserve — a community of perhaps twenty families, none of whom you will ever read about — The Forefathers' Horizon stretches low across the clifftop like a sentence that refuses to be hurried.

The architecture is deliberately horizontal. Stone walls dissolve into glass panels that slide entirely open, erasing the boundary between interior and Mediterranean. The effect, particularly at sunset, is of a house that breathes — expanding into the landscape, pulling the sea inside.

A private quay, accessible by a landscaped path from the lower garden, provides direct access to the water. Nine bedrooms — including a detached guest pavilion and staff quarters — ensure that the estate can host a family gathering of any scale without ever feeling crowded. The pool, a 25-metre lap lane in black basalt, sits parallel to the cliff edge, reflecting the sky.

A Note from Amir
"I have a rule: I never show a house I wouldn't live in myself. This is the house that tests that rule — because once you've stood on this quay at sunset, watching your children swim in the sea below a house that your great-grandchildren will inherit, every other address in the world feels temporary."
